When you come out to our neck of the woods, you're going to see cows, horses, chickens, wonderful people, and miles and miles of the most beautiful pastures you've ever seen. When most of us think rural, we think country; but we're not your typical rural church. Bethlehem is a lively, joyful place of worship where people of all ages and walks of life join together in fellowship and service.
At Bethlehem, you will be welcomed just as you are! We're not about "putting on airs;" the people here like to "keep it real." Susanna Wesley, mother of the founders of our church, once prayed, "Lord, save me from an imaginary life!" That prayer fits the way most folk around here think about faith: we seek a faith that is authentic and lived out - taking into account, and ministering to, all the good, the bad, and the ugly of our lives.
So if you're looking for a real life with the real God, Bethlehem has always been a good place to start. At Bethlehem, God's Son was born among common farm animals. At Bethlehem, the majesty of God came among the messiness of everyday human life. By God's grace, this can happen again, in your life and mine.
I welcome you to this website and I invite you to visit us anytime you are ready to make your own journey to Bethlehem.
